To linearize a command control system with a hydraulic motor (1) and an electrohydraulic servo valve (3), the control current i is multiplied by a correction factor f, where <IMAGE> in which p is the ratio (of correct sign) of the pressure difference between the working lines (2', 2'') to the feed pressure of the servo valve, and sign (x) expresses the flow direction through the working lines as a value +/- 1 in such a way that in the stationary state of the command control system with loaded hydraulic motor the product p.sign(x) is positive. The correction factor f is produced in a function former (12) by addressing a programmable read-only memory (PROM). A command control system linearized in this way can be used in systems which are intended for regulating a position or speed and use hydraulic auxiliary energy. <IMAGE>
