A dosing screw closure 1 for a container opening with an internal thread 8 and an end seal 9 is described, together with a cup-shaped dosing cylinder 5, which in the sealed position is situated on top of the container opening. Measures must be taken to prevent wetting of the container opening and the surrounding area by product flowing out of the dosing cylinder 5. According to the invention the dosing chamber 5 is situated opposite the container neck 3 and its end seal 9 and a product outlet ring 6 runs from the dosing chamber as a cylindrical continuation thereof into the container neck 3. <IMAGE>
