PURPOSE:To save the amount of lead and decrease the weight by forming lead layers at only part of grids requiring conductivity. CONSTITUTION:A structure obtained by combining acid resistant synthetic resin having different surface configuration or materials is immersed in molten lead or lead alloy, or molten lead or lead alloy is poured on the structure to obtain a grid by selectively forming lead or lead alloy layer on the surface of the structure by utilizing adhesive property of lead or lead alloy to the surface of the structure. In the figure B, black portions A are 2mm. diameter resin having smooth surfaces and the other portions B are same diameter and same material as the black portions A, but have surfaces forming fine projections thereon. When the temperature and time in the (a) area corresponding to the A and B portions are used to impregnate lead or lead alloy, lead layers are formed only on the black portions in the figure B. Therefore, the quantity of lead can be minimized. |
