PURPOSE:To deal with the jam of a copy paper with one touch of the operation of an operating lever, by improving a fixation device which is mounted on a copying machine body so as to be pulled out freely from it and is divided to two units. CONSTITUTION:When an operating lever 30 is lifted slightly in the direction of an arrow for the purpose of pulling out a fixation device 15 stored in a copying machine body 1, the second engaged lever 28 is disengaged from an engaging hole 29 of the body 1. When the operating lever 30 is pulled right, the fixation device is moved to the position of a stopper 22 on a rail 21. When the operating lever 30 is pulled right furthermore, the first engaging lever 24 is disengaged from an engaged shaft 27; and therefore, when the operating lever 30 is lifted high above, a unit 17 is rotated with a hinge as the fulcrum to release both units 17 and 19, and to deal with the paper jam. |
