发明名称 LASER MACHINING DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent Fresnel reflection loss and to improve overall transmittance and the utilizing efficiency of lasers considerably, by polishing both of the incident and exit end faces of a fiber in a way that the conditions of the incidence at a Brewster angle are established. CONSTITUTION:Linearly polarized laser light 13 is condensed to the incident end face 510 of an optical fiber 15 by a coupling lens 4 in a laser machining device consisting of a combination of an optical fiber and a laser. The face 510 is polished diagonally in the way that light is made incident thereto at a Brewster angle without Fresnel reflection loss. An optical fiber 15 of single polarized light type has the exit end face 520 which is polished at the Brewster angle like with the face 510 to eliminate Fresnel reflection loss. The exit light from the fiber is condensed by a condenser lens 6 and is irradiated onto the focus 9 on an operating object 7.
