PURPOSE:To prevent wasteful electric power consumption and to reduce the generation of noises and the abrasion of a working horn, etc., by operating an ultrasonic oscillation circuit and melt-sticking the work when the work exists at the working point. CONSTITUTION:The work 73 is sandwiched and moved by flat belts and when one end thereof arrives at a detecting means 70, an elastic piece 69 rides on the top surface of the work 73 and detaches from a ring 67, then the piece 68 shifts from a low to high level, and the input terminal I1 of an OR gate 72 goes to a high level. Therefore, an ultrasonic oscillating circuit 57 starts operation to apply high-frequency electric power to an ultrasonic oscillator 56, so that a working horn 58 is oscillated with high frequencies in the vertical direction. Upon lapse of a specified time, one end of the work 73 is sandwiched between the horn 58 and a press roll 52, and the melt-sticking of the PE sheets which are held superposed above and below at the working point is started by the high-frequency oscillations in the vertical direction of the horn 58. |
