Multi-cylinder variable delivery compressor

A multi-cylinder variable delivery compressor containing a plurality of compression chambers is adapted for use in compressing a refrigerant gas of a cooling circuit. The compressor has a first delivery chamber communicating with the compression chambers by way of a fixedly arranged delivery valve means and a second delivery chamber communicating with the compression chambers by way of a movably arranged delivery valve means. The movable delivery valve means is urged from its closing position toward its opening position, and is moved back to its closing position when a delivery pressure from the cooling circuit is applied to the movable delivery valve means.
