PURPOSE:To reduce noises due to mutual inductance between magnetic heads by connecting a variable resistance part which varies in resistance with a specific time constant to the plural magnetic heads directly in series. CONSTITUTION:When an erasure mode switching signal is applied from an operation part 1 to a control voltage generating circuit 2, an erasing current generating circuit 3 operates to supply an erasing current to a magnetic head 4. A resistance value varying circuit 6 varies in resistance value from infinite to zero according to a control signal from the control voltage generating circuit 2. To put the 2nd magnetic head 14 in operation in said state, the control signal is sent from the control votltage generating circuit 12 to the erasing current generating circuit 13 and the erasing current is then sent out. The resistance of the resistance value varying circuit 16 varies with the specific time constant and even if there is leakage magnetic flux from the magnetic head 4, the noise-free erasing current is applied to the magnetic head 4. |
