PURPOSE:To suppress the fluctuation of tension applied to a workpiece to be annealed during continuous annealing to the minimum, by outputting required signals from a differentiator and an integrator when a deviation is generated between the actually measured and preset values of the tension, and performing the speed control on the basis of the total sum of these signals. CONSTITUTION:The tension of a workpiece 5 to be annealed is detected by a detector 6 and compared with the preset value of a setting instrument 7 by a comparator 8. When a deviation DELTAF is generated, the signal DELTACD to instruct rapid correcting operation is outputted by a differentiator 13 at the time of the transient change of the deviation DELTAF. When the fluctuation continues for a predetermined time, the signal DELTACI to continually increase the correcting signal until the deviation DELTAF becomes zero is outputted by an integrator 12. A signal (DELTACI+DELTACD) obtained by adding these signals DELTACI and DELTACD together is regenerated so as to correspond to the speed Vi by a gain-compensating unit 14, and a signal DELTAV for the optimum change of the speed is applied to a speed controller to modify the fluctuating portion of the tension. |
