PURPOSE:To obtain true concentration of a component to be measured in a sample gas, by providing a detecting means, which measures the quantity of water discharged from a cooling device or a dehumidifier, and compensating the removed hygroscopic moisture. CONSTITUTION:The analyzing apparatus is provided with a flowmeter 13. The flowmeter 13 measures a flow rate Qw' of the water, which is discharged from the cooling device or the dehumidifier 2, i.e. the water which is removed from the sample gas, and outputs the signal indicating this flow rate to an operator 11. The operator 11 converts the Qw' into a volume Qw' of hygroscopic moisture per unit time, which is the result of the dehumidifying of the sample gas, and obtains the true concentration C3 of the component to be measured in the sample gas. Thus the removed hygroscopic moisture is compensated, and the true concentration of the component to be measured in the sample gas can be obtained. |
