PURPOSE:To completely adhere the end of a heat shrinkable tube for anticorrosion onto a cable, by a method wherein the end of tube is caused to shrink with heating by inserting an electric trowel kept at a suitable temperature with a temperature controller into the clearance between the heat-shrinkable tube and the cable. CONSTITUTION:A heat-shrinkable tube 2 is fitted on the outside of the specified of a cable 1, and is caused to shrink to the radial direction of it by heating whole the body. Then, the electric trowel 3 is inserted into the clearance between the tube 2 and and cable 1, and the end of tube is closely adhered to the cable 1 by further shinking with heating. The electric trowel is kept at a suitable temperature by connecting a temperature controller 5 thereto, and made to be easily inserted into the clearance between the tube 2 and the cable 1 by making the heater 5 of tip of the electric trowel 3 of circular arc. |
