PURPOSE:To prevent rupturing of apparatus to be cooled, by providing a safety valve which is operated to by-pass coolant to a coolant tank before rupturing of the apparatus to be cooled is caused when the pressure of coolant loaded to the apparatus to be cooled is raised near to the critical withstanding pressure of the same. CONSTITUTION:An apparatus 1 to be cooled and an apparatus 10 to be cooled are cooled by circulating coolant 5 in a coolant tank 3 by means of a circulation pump 2. On the coolant supplying side of the apparatus 10 having a lower critical withstanding pressure, there is provided a safety valve which is not operated at the pressure required for passing coolant to the apparatus 10 but operated at a pressure lower than the pressure at which the apparatus 10 is ruptured. The secondary side of the safety valve 11 is connected to the coolant tank 3 via a pipe and a detector 12 for detecting passing of coolant and converting it into an electric signal is provided at an intermediate part of the pipe. |
