PURPOSE:To make a carrier movable independently and secure a product excellent in quality, by making up the carrier with the following three elements, a mobile mechanism shifting the carrier, a rotary mechanism rotating a panel holding chuck and a tilting mechanism tilting a panel at the specified angle. CONSTITUTION:A self-propelled carrier 32 is movably supported on the top of a rest 31 while a mobile mechanism 34 has a reduction gear mechanism 37 to be coupled with the rotary shaft of a motor 35 via a coupling 36 and a sprocket 38 serving as a self-propelled driver. In addition, a panel rotary mechanism 41 rotatably supports a rotary shaft 43 provided with a chuck 42 in use for a cathode-ray tube panel 15 at its nose by means of a holding cylinder 44. This holding cylinder 44 is rotatably pivoted on the tip part of the carrier 32 by a supporting shaft 62 which forms a panel tilting mechanism 61. Likewise, at the supporting shaft 62 of the panel tilting mechanism 61, there is provided with a solenoid brake 63 which fastens the supporting shaft 62 tight enough during operation and is so designed as to be secured to the carrier 32 as one body. |
