PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform idle up of the engine of a vehicle when an electrical load is applied by a method wherein an electromagnetic valve is provided in a cooler idle-up device of an engine or in a diaphragm means of a throttle positioner. CONSTITUTION:The coller idle-up device comprising the diaphragm means 18 and a control valve 40 controlled by a cooler switch 60 is provided for a throttle valve 14 in a carburetor 10. Further, the electromagnetic valve 38 which is controlled by an electrical load switch 50 through a negative pressure control pipe 34 is connected to the control valve 40. With the above structure, the valve 40 opens when the cooler switch 60 is OFF and the electrical load switch 50 is ON, but in this case, the valve body 42 of the valve 38 is attracted and the negative pressure control pipe 34 comes to communicate with the atmosphere 37 through a throttle 53 so that the weakened negative pressure of air intake is applied on the diaphragm means 18 and the throttle valve 14 opens to a slight degree to thereby idle up the engine slightly. |
