PURPOSE:To form a comb teeth shaped blade constituted of elementary blades having arc-shaped tips respectively, by press-forming arc-shaped projections at the edge of a flat plte 1, and slitting it by grinding, etc. inward from the bottoms of gaps formed between the projections. CONSTITUTION:In manufacturing a comb teeth shaped blade used for the border hair-clipping of an electric razor or a fixed blade of an electric clipper, etc., many arc-shaped projections 9 and gaps 10 arranged at equal intervals are previously formed in a prescribed flat plate 8 by press-forming. Next, the slitting is performed by grinding the plate 1 form each bottom 10 of the gap to the inside with the aid of a super hard grinding wheel C. In this case, both blade- walls 9a adjacent to respective arc-shaped projections 9 act as a guide to a bottom 10 for the wheel C to position the wheel C more precisely, and a border hair-clipping fixed-blade equipped with the comb tooth consisting of respective elementary blades 6 having arc-shaped tips is obtained. |
