PURPOSE:To prevent the loss of users and to offer convenience, by recognizing the period of charging to a toll call at the telephone set side and holding the line after the charging period is elapsed even if the line is deteriorated after the unit charge is deposited. CONSTITUTION:An exchange station processor 6 transmits the charging period at a charging period generator 7 to a call (toll call) from a telephone set 5. This charging period information is transmitted to a base station charging period decoder 9 and a base station processor 10. A mobile station 4 transfers the charging period to a mobile station processor 12. When the 1st charging is performed since the monitor of strength of received electromagnetic waves is stopped, even if the strength of the strength of waves is decreased to a specified value or below, the line is held. A radio device 11 of the base station 3 interrupts the line forcedly until the call is started when the call signal from the mobile station 4 is received and the reception level at the station 3 is specified level or below. When the call is started, the charging period signal is judged and the monitor of the reception input level is stopped. Thus, even if the reception input level is decreased to the specified value or below, the line is not interrupted forcedly. |
