In printing units with type wheels in typewriters or similar machines, an easy exchangeability of the type wheel must be guaranteed. For this, it should be possible to remove the type wheel from the mounting or insert it therein as easily as possible, without the person operating the machine requiring particular dexterity. For this purpose, a change cassette which has a type wheel mounted freely in it and which can be inserted into a receiving device of the machine is known. This type wheel has a sprung driving pin which engages automatically into a recess of a wheel receptacle in the machine during a locating run. The sprung pin makes the disposable type wheel considerably more expensive. The object on which the invention is based is to simplify the change cassette. According to the invention, the sprung driving pin (82) is arranged eccentrically on the wheel receptacle (79). The type wheel (31) can thereby be designed in a substantially simpler way, since the driving pin (82) is a constructional part of the wheel receptacle (79). The material outlay for the type wheels (31) is reduced considerably, the coupling of the type wheel (31) to the wheel receptacle (79) taking place automatically after a locating run. <IMAGE>
