PURPOSE:To constitute a subordinate device having high flexibility and adaptability, and to set a device number, by executing a selecting operation in accordance with contents of state information, in a device for selecting the subordinate device by a command of a post device. CONSTITUTION:An input/output channel 10 loads an input/output device number on a data bus in an interface bus 100, and turns on a selection start signal. When an input/output control device 20 receives the selection start signal, and recognizes that the number on the data bus is the number of input/output devices 21-23 being under its own control, the device 20 inhibits transferring the selection start signal to the following input/output controlling device 30, returns a response to the input/output channel 10, and requests to occupy the interface. |
