<p>An underlayment material with a specific gravity, when dry, of less than, or equal to 1, for use in covering surfaces, such as decking on marine vessels and structures, prior to laying of a final covering, comprises a mixture of cement, water, an organic binder resin and an inert low density filler material such as cenospheres. Preferably the resin is a water- based acrylic polymer emulsion.</p> |
