PURPOSE:To obtain accurate injection timing in accordance with an altitude condition, by performing correction in accordance with a change of intake pressure for the basic injection timing calculated on the basis of engine speed, fuel injection quantity, etc. CONSTITUTION:Injection timing of a fuel injection valve 2 is adjusted by controlling an injection timing control, equipped with a timer piston 16 for position adjusting a roller 13 cooperated with a cam plate 14 in a fuel injection pump 1, through a timing control valve 19, and the valve 19 is controlled by a controller 3 together with an injection quantity adjusting linear solenoid 22 or the like. Here the controller calculates the basic injection timing from a fuel injection quantity by a spill position sensor 25, engine speed by a solenoid pick up sensor 20, etc. Then the injection timing is controlled to a lead (or lag) by a correction amount of the injection timing in highlands (or lowlands) calculated on the basis of an output of an intake pressure sensor 6. |
