PURPOSE:To make the regulation of air pressure unnecessary for a long time in a double structure pneumatic tire whose inside is divided radially by a partition wall into an inner and an outer chamber by providing a regulation valve to be opened and closed in accordance with the pressure in the outer chamber on the partition wall. CONSTITUTION:High pressure air is at first injected into the second air chamber 15 via a valve 16. At this stage, since the first air chamber 14 is under an atmospheric air pressure, a spool 20 is pushed to the side of a port 29 by a spring 30 and the inner pressure of a small chamber 22 for separating a valve body 27 from a valve seat 26. Consequently, the high pressure air is also introduced into the side of the first air chamber 14 for increasing the pressure inside. When the inside of the first air chamber 14 comes to a fixed pressure, the spool 20 is pushed to seat the valve body 27 on the valve seat 26, and the introduction of the high pressure air into the first air chamber 14 is intercepted. The air is furthermore injected into the second air chamber 15 to obtain high pressure. When the pressure in the first air chamber 14 is lowered under a fixed value, the valve body 27 is opened to supply air from the second air chamber 15, and the pressure is maintained at a fixed level. This construction permits to make the regulation of pressure unnecessary for a long time. |
