PURPOSE:To enable automatic change of die width without taking out the die from the device by arranging all sectional dies while a movable end die is in shunting, and clamping the dies after shifting the dies to storing position leaving necessary number of sectional dies. CONSTITUTION:When changing the width of an upper die, an operation button is depressed after designating the width of the upper die after changing by an operation panel. Then, a pulse motor 13 operates and turns a movable end die clockwise, and shunts it out of moving passage of sectional dies 3, 3'. After this, an actuator 30 operates and returns remaining sectional die 3' which is in the storing position to working position, and unifies it with the sectional die 3 which is in the working position. Then, a screw 6 is rotated and a shifting stand 12 is moved to a position corresponding to the designated width. A separation claw 14 is pushed out by a cylinder 15 and moves the remaining die 3' to the storing position. Then, the motor 13 reverses, turns the die 5, advances the screw 6 and clamps the die 3 between the die 5 and a fixed end die 4 and fixes it. |
