PURPOSE:To enable easy finding of poor penetration of root part, by knurling over whole face of the root part of the groove of mterial to be welded, and abutting the root part to each other and performing electric welding. CONSTITUTION:Jagged flaws 13 are worked by a knurling tool over whole face of the root part 12 of the groove 11 of a material made of aluminum alloy. Jagged flaws 13 of the root part 12 are butted from left and right and electric welded by large current MIG welding. Even if poor penetration occurs in the root part 12 at the time of welding, it can be find out easily by radiographic inspection etc. as jagged part 13 is remaining. |
