<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the time for printing after the release of paper jam, by reading out picture information from a page memory in which the picture information to be printed on a copying paper causing paper jam is written at the release of paper jam. CONSTITUTION:If copying papers cause paper jam, no paper discharge detection signal is outputted and the transfer of the picture information at the 4th page from an electronic computer 1 is stopped. Common contacts 9a, 11a of changeover switches 9, 11 are connected to individual contacts 9c, 11c. In releasing the paper jam of the copying paper 7 and depressing a paper jam release button 38, a print signal is outputted. A contact 9a of the switch 9 is kept connected to the contact 9c and a contact 11a of the switch 11 is connected again to an individual contact 11d. Thus, the picture information at the 2nd page is read out from a memory 4 of the 2nd page and the picture of the picture information is formed.</p> |
