<p>The amplifier arrangement comprises push pull amplifiers in the three stages: preamplifier (1), intermediate amplifier (2) and output power amplifier (3). The power amplifier consists of a number of switching stages (17.1,17.2,...17n) connected in a chain. The switches control transistors in the two halves (3) of the amplifier. The transistors in one branch of the amplifier are complimentary to those in the other. In all other respects they have identical characteristics. The switching stages (17.1,17.2,...17.n) are arranged such that the supply voltage (E) is added to a comparable voltage to which capacitors (13.1,13.2,...13.n) in the respective branches are already charged. The power amplifier is of the BC type. Each branch (3) comprises a stage (4) operating in B mode in series with stages (5.1,5.2...5.n) operating in C mode. (Previously notified in Week 83/38).</p> |
