<p>The stand consists of a rectangular frame provided at one end with a horizontal pivot shaft on which one end of a trough-shaped beam (11) is located. The beam has two arms carrying a hand-operated clamp, so a pneumatic drill can be placed in the beam and clamped. Near the other end of the frame is a mobile slide provided with an eccentric (33) used to tilt beam to a desired angle above the horizontal. The beam pref. has a V-cross-section and the clamp pref. uses a bar with an inverted V-cross-section. The frame pref. has four feet which can be swivelled to a desired angle. The stand is for pneumatic drills used for drilling holes in the earth, esp. for laying pipes at the sides of roads for carrying water or electric cables.</p> |
