<p>The stand is used to mount a portable power tool at various inclinations, being itself mounted on a G cramp (1) by which it is fixed to a bench. A swivel base (2) with opposed inclined faces (10) is bolted (3) to the cramp, using one inclined face to mount an obliquely sliding jaw (7), and using the other to mount a split sleeve (8) capable of pivoting about an axle bolt (14) normal to the support face. A guide sleeve (15) locates the inclined axle bolt, the split sleeve being used to mount the tool and/or adaptor in the form of a V notched axle (19) and notched strap (21) secured by bolts (23). A threaded hole (4') in the cramp leg may permit the base to be fixed with its axis (3) of rotation horizontal and the inclined faces may be at 45 degrees.</p> |
