PURPOSE:To enhance separation efficiency for each component of a sample, and to fractionate the sample continuously and automatically in detail, by optionally selecting each flow path to plural separation column different in elution conditions and detectors different in detection conditions by changing over each valve, and utilizing characteristics of each column efficiently. CONSTITUTION:Plural containers contg. elution solns. 1, 2, 3, the first separation column 10, a detector 11, the second separation column 12, the changeover valve 4 of flow paths of elution solns., and those 7, 8, 9 of flow pahts to each column and the detector are provided. The elution soln. 1 is fed, a sample is fed from a sample introducing device, developed in the column 10 with the soln. 1, and the elution component is measured with the detector 11. During that time, the component of the sample to be separated in the column 12 is fed to the column 12, and after the end of separation and detection of the column 10 and the detector 11, the elution soln. 2 is fed to the column 12 by changing over the valves 4, 7, 8, and 9, and said component is developed in the column 12, and the eluted fraction is detected with the detector 11. Thus changing over the valves and efficient utilization of the second separation column and at least one detector attached automatic and continuous determination of multicomponents by a computer system. |
