PURPOSE:To prevent generation of abnormal tension in a tape, by executing a torque control of a feed reel motor by an output of a tape tension detecting means, which is related to a motion of a feed side tension arm. CONSTITUTION:A tape 5 is wound round a winding reel 2 through a feed side tension arm 6, a head group 8, a tension arm 12 of the winding side, etc., from a feed reel 1. To the feed side tension arm 6 and the winding side tension arm 12, a tape tension detecting mechanism 14 consisting of a potentiometer, etc. is fitted. By outputs fetched from said tape tension detecting mechanisms 13, 14, driving of a feed reel motor 3 and a winding reel motor 4 is controlled. In whichever direction a tape moves, the tape tension is controlled so as to become constant. |
