The invention relates to zirconium- and/or hafnium-containing zeolites, to a process for their preparation and to their use. They are prepared by producing a mixture of zirconium compounds and/or hafnium compounds, and silicon compounds, sodium compounds, tetrapropylammonium compounds and water and, if desired, in addition aluminium compounds, in specified weight ratios and heating the mixture in a sealed vessel. The zeolites are used as catalysts in the preparation of C2-C4-olefins from methanol. |
