PURPOSE:To obtain a capsulated toner having excellent pressure fixability and low offsetting performance by contg. a polymer, a solvent of a specific b.p. or above which dissolves or swells said polymer, and a core material contg. display recording materials. CONSTITUTION:A capsulated toner contg. an acrylic ester (co)polymer or styrene-butadiene copolymer, a solvent such as phthalate ester, phosphate ester, alkyl naphthalene or the like of >=180b.p. that can dissolve or swell said polymer, and display recording materials which are pigments such as carbon black, magnetic powder, etc. as a core material is obtained by dispersing the primary liquid prepd. by dissolving (poly)isocyanate and polyol in a dispersion of, for example, the polymer, the solvent and the pigments into the secondary liquid prepd. by dissolving PVA in water and forming the shells of polyurethane by an interfacial polymn. method. The excellent capsulated toner which has good fixability and does not produce uncomfortable smells from the solvent is obtained. |
