FORMING BEAM ANTENNA

摘要

PURPOSE:To bring a radiation pattern close to a completely formed pattern, by providing an equal angle of elevation for the reflecting direction of reflection waves at each point on a reflecting mirror in which a prescribed angle of elevation is provided between the primary radiator and a non-quadratic surface reflection mirror. CONSTITUTION:A vertical center cross section curve 3 and a horizontal center cross section curve 4 of the non-quadratic curved surface reflection mirror 2 are taken as the reflection mirror cross section respectively being the desired radiation pattern at the center cross section. The shape of reflection mirror other than both center cross sections is taken as the reflection mirror having angles of elevation thetae and theta'e being equal in the reflecting direction of reflection waves at the standpoint of geometric optics at points P and Q on the mirror surface in which a prescribed angle of elevation alpha is provided between the primary radiator 1 and the non-quadratic curved surface reflection mirror 2.
