PURPOSE:To prevent cutting or napping of threads in the course of long-time usage as well as decrease generation of the white power by forming a guide for thread of natural fiber from a sintered body with silicon nitride as its produced component. CONSTITUTION:A thread guide is formed by a sintered body with silicon nitride which has a comparative small thermal conductivity and a high hardness as main component, i.e. a sintering of silicon nitride. In this case, this sintering of silicon nitride is manufactured by preparing the sintering material through addition of metal oxide to silicon nitrides as a help means for sintering, adding a certain proper amount of binders in two or more different sorts to this material so as to mold into a desired form of thread guide, and carrying out sintering in the atmosphere of N2 gas. Accordingly cutting or napping of a thread can be prevented even in the course of long-time usage, as well as a thread guide with extremely small possibility of generation of white powder caused by cutting-off of the external surfaces of the thread can be obtained. |
