PURPOSE:To prevent irregular splicing owing to pressure drop in the compressed air by furnishing a pressure switch at a pipe to supply compressed air to a pneumatic splicing device and by stopping the automatic winder when the pressure of compressed air becomes below a certain specified value. CONSTITUTION:Piping for compressed air in an automatic winder 1 is leading from a main tap 7 to a first pipe 11 through a pressure switch 8, mist separator 9 and decompression valve 10, and after passing another decompression valve 12 reaches a second pipe 13. These pipes 11, 13 stretch in the longitudinal direction of the body 4 of automatic winder, leading to the pneumatic splicing device 18 through joints 14, 15 and flexible pipes 16, 17, respectively. When the pressure switch 8 in monitoring of the pressure of compressed air supplied to the automatic winder's body 4 finds the pressure sinking below a certain set value, the body 4 is stopped using a proper control device. Thus irregular splicing owing to drop of the pressure can be prevented. |
