PURPOSE:To use a novel small-sized cassette for a previous large-sized cassette VTR by providing an energy accumulating means for tape unloading and loading. CONSTITUTION:When a sliding knob 21 is slid as shown by an arrow (a) after the small-sized cassette 2 is set in an adapter 1, a coiled spring 17 hooked by a boss 18 implanted in a sliding lever 11 accumulates energy and at the same time, the engagement between a rack 20 on a side surface of the sliding lever 11 and a loading gear 22 allows a loading lever 21 to rotates, thereby leading a tape out. When loading operation by the sliding lever 11 is almost completed, a pawl 19 engages a holding pawl 71 to hold the lever 11. If up to a holding mechanism is not operated and incomplete loading is done, the sliding lever 11 is returned by the eneregy accumulating spring 17 to its original state. |
