A heat exchanger has a variety of functions which are mostly required in order to supply heat of one type to another circuit. In the known designs, the efficiency is low, and in order to enable new technologies the efficiency would have to be substantially improved. The efficiency can be increased by enlarging the cooling surface and reducing the flow resistance.
