A clamping device for tubes and pipes which are immersed in or carry fluid at elevated temperatures, for example, boilers. The clamping device includes a pair of plate members (20, 21) for supporting the tubes (34), the plate members (20, 21) being connected together by securing members (29). Each securing member (29) has associated therewith a resilient member (36) for allowing movement of the plate members (20, 21) with respect to each other and to the securing members (29). Retaining members (30) are also provided to attach one of the plate members (20, 21) to a support (33) which forms part of the boiler. The retaining members (30) also have associated therewith resilient members (36). |
