In a projection screen consisting of a housing, a flexible and rollable reflection surface, at least one roller for winding up and rewinding the reflection surface and a drive for moving the reflection surface, the aim is to achieve the object of providing a projection screen which can be suspended on a wall and can remain permanently at its site because the wall surface it occupies can be used for other purposes outside the times at which projection is carried out. The invention achieves this object by arranging that the housing is a fixed frame which encloses the projection surface, that working means for rolling up or re-rolling the reflection surface are arranged behind the upper and the lower strips of the frame, and that the lateral strips of the frame form guides for the sides of the reflection surface, or are covers for such guides.
