PURPOSE:To increase angle error detecting sensitivity, by providing a pyramidical horn for detecting an angle error, on a notch part provided on the circumference of a quadruple ridge type horn. CONSTITUTION:On 4 notched parts of a square quadruple ridge horn F, angle error detecting horns A, B, C and D are placed so as to be fitted in. The horns A, B, C and D are pyramidical horns for constituting a monopulse horn. The cut-off wavelength of a fundamental wave of the horn F is decided by size of a ridge, but it becomes longer than cut-off wavelength of a fundamental wave of a square horn having the same inside diameter size. The inside diameter size and the ridge size of the horn are decided so that the wavelength by the lowest frequency of the angle error detecting frequency and the communicating frequency becomes shorter than the cut-off wavelength, and also the horns A, B, C and D are placed at intervals by which the angle error detecting sensitivity becomes the maximum. |
