PURPOSE:To reduce by half air heaters which are heretofore belonged individually by using an air heater for both preliminarily heating storage heat exchanger and preheating the combustion air. CONSTITUTION:Before an operation starts, a preliminary heating is performed (a heat storage type heat exchanger) by air 12 which is heated by an air heater 22. In order to start burning fuel 11 with a combustor 13, the combustor 13 side of a three-way valve 23 is opened. The air is heated by the increase of the heat input of the heater 22, and the temperature of combustion gas is enhanced by the combustor 13. Accordingly, the top of a heat storage unit 14 becomes high temperature, and the outlet temperature of work fluid which is flowed from the lower part can be thereafter maintained at a high temperature for a long period of time. |
