PURPOSE:To reduce the fuel supply rate and to thereby reduce the noises produced by an internal-combustion engine, by disposing a variable throttle valve capable of varying the area of a fuel passage in response to the displacement of a permanent magnet at an intermediate portion f each fuel passage extended between a fuel injection pump and fuel injection valves. CONSTITUTION:A variable throttle valve 4 capable of varying the area of a fuel passage in response to the displacement of a permanent magnet 22 is disposed at an intermediate portion of each fuel pipe 2 connecting a fuel injection pump 1 to a plurality of automatic injection valves 3. At the time of idling operation of an engine when an accelerator pedal 8 is not depressed, the permanent magent 22 is moved by an electromagnetic changeover valve 7 and an actuator 5. Since, with such an arrangement, the fuel injection rate is reduced when the area of the fuel passage is reduced by the valve 4, it is enabled to reduce the pressure rise caused at the time when fuel is burnt and exploded and to thereby reduce the noises produced at the time of idling operation remarkably. |
