PURPOSE:To indicate bearing quickly by applying a pulse signal to a CRT when a received signal level corresponding to an inversion pattern synchronously detecting the output of a receiver with a switching signal for inverting a cardiod pattern. CONSTITUTION:An antenna 1 is rotated at a constant speed with an induction motor 8 while a pattern selector 2 is operated with a pattern switching signal generator 4, which causes a receiver 3 to output a signal to be detected. As a switching circuit 11 is operated with the generator 4 synchronizing the selector 2, a pulse signal is applied into smoothing circuits 12a and 12b corresponding to the level of a cardioid pattern. The output of the circuits 12a and 12b produce signals which change like a sine wave in the positive area and differs by 180 deg. from each other. A level comparator 13 generates a pulse through a differentiation circuit 14 when the levels of input signals coincide with each other to indicate a curve coordinate on a CRT10 corresponding to a signal from an angle signal generator 9 of an antenna 1. This enables a quick display of a detected bearing thereby reducing errors in reading. |
