Front-mounted brake indicator for motor vehicles

The front-mounted brake indicator in the form of a signalling light which lights up simultaneously with the rear brake lights when the brake pedal is actuated is suitable for all motor vehicles. It constitutes a contribution to increasing the safety in traffic, specifically with respect to more rapid and more appropriate behaviour when the lighting up of the brake indicator is visually perceived. This object is achieved in that the front brake indicator lights up when the brake pedal is actuated. It is composed of a yellow-tinted plastic viewing plate in the sealed holding frame and corresponding floor plate in a triangular or rectangular shape with a 21 W spherical lamp in a bayonet closure as light source.
