PURPOSE:To raise workability of a continuous wall construction work by a method in which connection holes are formed below a buried pipe in vertical shafts drilled on both sides of the buried pipe and cut-off walling materials are set in the connection holes and both the vertical shafts. CONSTITUTION:A trench 10 is excavated below a pipe 1 in such a way as to connect vertical shafts 2 and 3 drilled on both sides of the buried pipe 1, plural steel sheet piles 11a, 11b and 11c of a width and a length corresponding to the length and depth of the trench 10 are combined with each other, a steel sheet pile 12 of a length corresponding to the depth of the shaft 2 is combined with the sheet pile 11a, and then they are integrally fixed by a channel steel 13. Then, a steel sheet pile 14 shorter than the sheet pile 11c is combined with the sheet pile 11c. A series of sheet piles 11, 12 and 14 are hung down by a wire 23 and set inside the trench 10 by means of wires 18, 19 and 20, the steel sheet pile 15 is welded to the sheet pile 14, the steel sheet pile 24 is erected into the trenches 2 and 3 in such a way as to connect it with the sheet piles 12, 14, and 15, and a wall-forming material is injected into the trenches 2, 3 and 10. The sheet piles 11, 12, 14, 15 and 24 have water shielding properties. |
