PURPOSE:To permit stepless speed change mechanically by a method wherein the revolving motion of the engine of an automobile is converted by the effect of a crank into reciprocating motion increased or decreased in the speed thereof and, further, is converted into the revolutional motion of an arbitrary direction. CONSTITUTION:The revolving motion of the engine of an automobile is transmitted to a disc 32 connected to a rotary shaft 33, the crank 23 provided on the disc 32 is connected by a crank pin 28, the eccentric position of the crank pin 28 is moved during the rotation of the rotary shaft 33 and the revolving motion of the engine is converted into the reciprocating motion of a slide table 2 increased or decreased in the speed thereof by the effect of the crank. The reciprocating motion of the slide table 2 is converted into the revolving motion of a power transmitting rotary shaft 14, rotating into one direction, through a chain 59 and a power transmitting sprocket 15. |
