PURPOSE:To protect buffer plates against damages and to prevent generation of noises, by employing such an arrangement that the buffer plates formed on the surface of the outer side wall of an annular chamber integrally with the side wall can cause elastic deformation when spherical members come into abutment with the same. CONSTITUTION:A balancer 8 is formed concentrically with a rotary tank 4, and a plurality of first buffer plates 18 are formed on the surface of the outer side wall 16 of an annular chamber 10 formed in the balancer 8 in the manner that they are unitary with the side wall 16 and disposed intermittently along the circumference of the side wall 16. Similarly, a plurality of second buffer plates 22 are formed on the surfaces of the bottom wall 15 and the inner side wall 17 of the annular chamber 10, in the manner that they are unitary with the bottom wall 15 and the inner side wall 17 and disposed intermittently along the circumference of the chamber 10. The bottom wall 15 and the inner and outer side walls 16, 17 are made of a plastics material, and the first and the second buffer plates 18, 22 are made of the same material. Therefore, when the rotary tank 4 is stopped abruptly, spherical members 13 in the annular chamber 10 are moved along the surface of the outer side wall 16 by their own inertia and come into collision with the first buffer plates 18. However, the shock can be moderated through elastic deformation of the buffer plates 18. |
