PURPOSE:To provide a mold type transformer of compact form, by a method wherein outside of secondary winding of a zero-phase current transformer is surrounded by magnetic material so that the magnetic material does not form one turn, and arrangement close to a current transformer is permitted. CONSTITUTION:Outside of a core 9 is covered by an insulator 10 and a secondary winding 11 is wound thereon. The secondary winding 11 is covered by an insulator 12 and shield materials 13, 14, 15, 16 are disposed at outside of the insulator 12, and further outside of the shield materials is covered by an outside insulator 17. The shield materials 13, 14, 15, 16 are not connected to each other at X-Y cross-section as shown in an opening part 18, but closed magnetic paths being independent of each other are formed in the annular direction of the core. Primary conductors U, V, W of suitable length are inserted in a zero-phase current transformer 2 and a current transformer 1, conductors U, W being at the current transformers 1 and ring core of the zero-phase current transformer 2 and conductor V being at the center of ring core of the zero- phase current transformer 2. Secondary terminals 3, 4 from the two current transformer 1 and secondary terminal 5 from the zero-phase current transformer 2 are ready to be drawn and then integral molding is performed using resin thereby a mold type transformer is obtained. |
