PURPOSE:To enable a device to have high dimensional accuracy and to increase the performance of the device by employing the material with the contraction coefficient being 10% or less. CONSTITUTION:0.3-15wt% glass powder is added to soft magnetic ferrite powder and the mixture is kneaded at temperature higher than the softening point of the glass by 200 deg.C to coat the ferrite powder particle with the glass. Then the mixture is heated at temperatures higher than those at which the minute shrinkage of the ferrite begins. Although a compact obtained by pressurizing ferrite powder in a metal mold contains void holes, diffusion will occurs among atoms constituting the ferrite is heated at temperature higher than 800-1,000 deg.C, causing the void holes to decrease and the compact to shrink. |
