<p>The isolating ring for carrying the low pressure turbine stage of a gas turbine has sections placed side by side to form the ring. Each segment is formed of a metal which is heat resistant and has, at each end, a wedge (7,8) which is parallel with the other wedges (7,8) which is parallel with the other wedges and has an extension tongue (9). The wedges can form an acute angle with the lateral exterior surface of the segments (6). The rear end is extended by the tongue to cover the internal surface of an adjacent segment.</p> |
