PURPOSE:To improve workability of a weld part of a thin austenite stainless steel plate, by deriving and controlling a welding heat input quantity by experssions from delta ferrite quantity derived from composition of a welding base material, and thickness of a base plate. CONSTITUTION:From a chemical composition of an austenite stainless steel plate, delta ferrite quantity delta% is calculated by the equationI. Subsequently, from the derived delta ferrite quantity delta%, and thickness (t)mm. of the base plate, a proper welding heat input Joule/cm is derived from the inequarity II, and a thin austenite stainless steel plate is welded. |
